El Paso Inspection Division

This review does not reflect all employees. I came for a permit. The system is unorganized that you will hear calling "next customer". You could be next on the list on the screen but the desk will tell you is not your turn. You patiently wait just for when the system calls "next customer" again. Another customer cuts you and the employees nor security does nothing about it. They just ask you to wait longer. Afterwards another customer passed but to another department apparently. Some of us also have a many commitments to report to, including work, and have a limited time. In consideration of your customers time, please address your communication system issues and flaws…

As I am aware, this is where inspections are done to make sure you are able to build on a specific location in our city, but I find it hard to believe they are doing their job. We have had issues with our home for years because of foundation issues. At first, I believed that it was an issue with my builder. Now I have realized that it more than likely isn't a builder issue, it is El Paso's "inspection divisions" fault. We have had a sink hole 4 times in 3 years in the exact same location. Come to find out that my neighborhood was built on sand and not compacted dirt. I am further looking into this situation, in order to start a formal lawsuit against El Paso and its "…

Amazing service, is always fast and smooth. Everyone who works here is so efficient and knowledgeable!

At first I was having problems but once you know what is expected things get easier and flow as expected. Very nice customer service, very knowledgeable and very knowledgeable and demanding to city code inspectors. My experience with them was a long one, but pleasant in the long run, i learned alot. They are doing a job and they do it very well.

I had a very professional experience getting a building permit today. The permit process in the City of El Paso has modernized and has changed things to make it very easy to get a permit. They now have a line system where you check in online and this way you don't have to wait too long. The City Employees were very professional! We were helped by Ruben who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and explained the process and everything we needed to know. I am very impressed with the whole process!
